Yes! Much of the commercially available materials for online education are shallow, and not modifiable, which leads to instructors to reinvent all their materials. I would like to promote CC licensed materials as starting points, especially to new and adjunct faculty who do not have extensive collections of lecture notes and projects of their own.

I am the distance learning coordinator for our library. I am very interested in open access publishing; using online tools (Web 2.0) to increase online communication among students, instructors, and librarians; user created content.
